Certificate records

A certificate should be verifiable.

A useful verification service connects a certificate ID to the issuer’s authoritative award record. It should help a reader understand the achievement while protecting private projects, grades, prompts and review notes.

Public verification is not connected yet.

This review shows the verification page and its intended information. It does not validate issued certificates or display demonstration records as real awards. If you need to check a certificate, use the instructions supplied by its issuer or contact the issuing institution.

What the award record should identify

Certificate ID

The unique identifier tied to the award record.

Recipient

The permitted recipient information necessary to identify the award.

Achievement

The specific ImaginePlus certificate earned.

Issuer and issue date

The responsible issuer and date of issuance.

Criteria version

The requirements under which the work was assessed.

Current status

The authoritative status and any relevant explanation.

A public record has a limited purpose.

Private grades, prompts, productions and assessor notes do not belong in a public verification response.

Cohort software access ending does not itself expire or revoke an earned certificate. An unavailable verification service does not establish that a certificate is invalid.
